Many years ago on a continent far far away, Fremont and Great Notion united in a noble pursuit to bring the light of Pacific Northwest Beer to the dark corners of the world. Thereafter joining forces, they returned home and resolved to brew a beer in celebration of newfound friends and beer explorers. Three years later they did it again.

16oz can from Craft Brewers. Hazy yellow golden, thin but persistent fine white head. Soft bready aroma with light citrus. Taste brings faint lemon peel, sweet, more bready malts. Approachable DIPA.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces very nicely.
S: Fruity, tropical + orchard fruit, and melon, citrus, herbal notes, resinous pine, just a hint of coconut, biscuity malt, caramel sweetness, and a slight yeasty estery note.
T: Citrus, tangerine, grapefruit, and lemon, tropical and stone fruit, watermelon, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, peach, apricot, papaya, and pear, resinous pine, herbal, a bit floral, faint hint of coconut, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Snatched this can off the shelf before I could even think. After reading the brewer's notes, especially the hop bill, I worried I might have made a mistake as I generally try to avoid most of the ones they used. But these are 2 breweries that I trust to not put out a hot mess, and sure enough they didn't. In fact they put out something really cool and unique. It's nicely balanced and while there's a lot of flavors going on, but they all play together nicely. Glad I didn't second guess the pros.

Poured into a Trillium glass a very nice cloudy pale yellow/orange color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger off-white head, which also leaves some very nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, papaya, nectarine, apricot, melon), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, papaya, nectarine, apricot, melon), very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake!

neat collaboration with great notion here, strong and sturdy hazy ipa, massively unique hop profile that pulls me right in. i usually am critical of the strong ones in this space, often sloppy and forced, but the bigness here seems needed, has to have the body and maybe also the alcohol, so hold up all these hops, and the hop profile slays. its a sunny yellow orange brew, very dense and hazy from the tap and without a super high head, some white creaminess on top and some ring lacing as i drink on it. the hops smell a little more vibrant than they taste, but its close. cashmere leads the way, juicy melon and honeysuckle to me, along with what could be some nelson, lemongrass and floral honey there, also a softness like we often get from citra or el dorado, a light berry note even as it warms, peach and pineapple also in play, must be a fair few varietals working together to make this so dynamic. more and more citrus as it warms, tangerine and zesty lemon, so good. it is a touch sweet through most of it, but i dont really mind, it seems to give the hops a longer and maybe even deeper reach. the grain bill is fuller obviously, somewhat generic in flavor, lots of starch to it and body, but it is necessary for all this hop intensity. palate coating and sort of creamy feeling, enough carbonation, and some lightly green bitterness lingering late. flavorful and unique on the hop side, well made beer overall, not immaculately clean but for its size its ahead of the curve. two legends come together well on this, shows sides of both breweries i think, rare but for me highly desirable in collaboration beer!

Canned 4/21 - fresh! Pours a hazy amber. Plentiful head, nose is definite fruit, mostly citrus with a herbal base. Taste is mild bitterness for a NEIPA. The ABV makes itself apparent on the finish. For a NEIPA, the overall feel is much lighter and drier than others. An interesting take on a classic IPA variety. Goes well with our tasty home made pizza. Assertively spiced food would be a good companion
Good as any, better than some.

16oz pour at a beer bar called Beer Star. Loved the original, couldn't pass up the sequel.
Light hazy gold, one finger of dense creamy head, medium amount of fine carbonation. Smell is tropical, mango, melon rind.
Taste is juicy tropical fruit, leaning toward unripe mango, with a clean fruit skin bitterness.
Mouthfeel is light yet creamy. Overall, very good.

16oz can, very fresh; golden haze with a fluffy off-white head. Very fresh smelling and tasting; tropical for sure, stone fruit as well, with impressions of tangerine, grapefruit rind, other citrus...smooth body, really nice mouthfeel and presence for 8.2% abv - doesn't feel that hefty.
