Served in tulip. Poured a clean, clear light gold color with 3/4 inch of white head that had low retention and moderate lacing.
The aroma was solidly malt, with spice and yeast notes. The flavors were very similar, just bolder and more pronounced. The body was good, fairly typical for the style. Drinkability was pretty good, also pretty typical for the style. Overall, a very nice little beer, especially for a first attempt at the style. Worth trying if you see it.
