Handsome golden brew with a big foam in the Troubadour tulip. Great big fragrance with a whiff of orchids (that vanilla hint) and faintly, the horse barn.

Robust but refined malty brew. The sweet maltiness is a pleasure, edged by the dry yeasty taste. Fruity pear and peach flavors. Only a faint biterness. Light body but hugely flavorful.

Spritzy and refreshing with a From the 12 oz can purchased at the Pioneer Market in La Conner.

Harvest Ale from Fremont? Don't mind if I do!

This little saison is surprisingly bright and refreshing. Slightly sweet Belgian yeast profile is well balanced with stone fruit and faint spice. Reminds me of Boulevard's Tank 7 in some respects...and it's canned! Drank the first one way too fast and needed to immediately open a second.

To wit: This offering from Fremont is a bit of a diamond in the rough and deserves a higher overall rating than it currently has.
