Little Whaleboat Islands (made up of Little Whaleboat, Nate and Tuck) are a cluster of 3 small islands and ledges in Casco Bay, a vital link in the chain of protected islands conserved by Maine Coast Heritage Trust. Protection of these islands provides sanctuary to a range of wildlife including seals, seabirds, shorebirds, and wading birds, while preserving a unique place off the coast of Maine for future generations to experience.

Honey-golden pour with a decent amount of haze and a relatively frothy head. Smells herbaceous & first tasting notes are grapefruit and light, crisp apple flavor. Overall very pronounced wheat flavors - lots of cereal and bread notes. Not but not as compelling as other Maine IPA's for me.

A: crystal clear; pale gold in color; 1 finger finely pored white head that receded to a thin cap; very nice lacing;
S: floral - I get the rose and chamomile;
T: drinks like an out of balance session IPA; follows the nose with muddled grapefruit and orange in the background; moderate bitterness at the end;
M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: without question, my least favorite beer from my favorite brewery; I'm in shock; bottle was 3 weeks old;

Pours a clear pale yellow color loads of bubbles rising to a small white head that laces well.
Aroma is light crisp cracker like, light tropical fruits, with pine and floral hints. Refreshing and inviting nose.
Taste follows light crisp cracker like malts guess from the pilsner. Nice hop notes citrus, orange, mango, pine and floral hints. Favorable without being overly bitter which I usually prefer to be honest. Easy drinking and enjoyable.
Mouthfeel suits the beer light and crisp.
Overall an enjoyable little IPA that I would enjoy more if the cost was more reasonable.

Pours a clear gold. Thin foam. Big green hop body. Light tropical fruit and hop oil. A little sweetness mixed with a bitter finish. A little thin but easy drinking. Good but not great.
