2019 version of the farmhouse flavored with Abruzzo raw materials, this is the version with gentian roots (already drunk tapped at the Festival di Castellalto 2019, together with other versions of the same beer and the Abruxensis base - without adding typical Abruzzo ingredients to flavor it) .
Saccharomyces, Torulaspora and Brettanomyces yeasts selected from local Abruzzo grapes.
Alcool 5,2%.
Deadline reported 06/2024.
Herbaceous, light earthy nose typical of Farmhouse Ale.
Foam that vanishes.
Dark straw color.
Cloudy.
Very light body, high drinkability.
Optimal carbonation, which does not make it flat at all, but not even carbonated: perfect.
In the mouth "farm" flavors (earthy, herbaceous, funky) made elegant by a very balanced acid that cleans the mouth before the final triumph of the gentian.
Bitter, herbaceous, pretty strong.
It fits perfectly, gorgeous.
I don't feel hops that give bitterness or sensory nuances: it's all a game of yeasts and the gentian finish is really characteristic and fully recognizable (that is ... the taste of gentian is really felt!).
I preferred it in the bottle rather than on draft keg, perhaps because I drank it from the keg too young.
