Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a muffin top pint glass; no production information, but just canned and purchased on 8/6/2020 per the service staff.
A: Pours a hazy, lemon yellow color with a one finger, short lived white head, rim retention, and basically no lacing at all.
S: Grassy and grainy, particularly barley grain with a white peppery spiciness. Maybe a lemon note, but I would never have considered tangerine had it not been termed a tangerine lager.
T: Dry. Flavors of pumpernickel, lemon, white pepper, and barley grain. The only hint of tangerine is on the back end. Outsized bitterness for a lager.
M: Light to medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation.
O: Stopped in that brewery and asked the counter staff what was good. Tangy, billed as a tangerine lager, was recommended. Last time I listen to anyone there. This is passable, at best, but lasts any more than a hint of tangerine.
