Tried this at the Blue Point Cask Festival
A - Pours brown with some foam retention. Some carbonation is noticeable.
S - Smells of malts, caramel, and freshly cut wood.
T - Very nice contrast between the english malt and the addition of Goldings hops. The extra age on this ale served it well. The flavor is mellowed, but is consistent from first sip to the end.
M - Not enough bit at the end for my liking, but it is peasant.
O - A pretty nice take on their Winter Ale, and was a treat to have at the event.
