Picked up at Beer City, North Babylon NY
A - Amber to brown pour Thin off-white foam. Decent lacing. Opaque and no bubbles of carbonation visible.
S - Smells strongly of english malt, flowers, and some caramel scent. Only at the end do I get a hint of rye.
T - Impressive rye flavor that is surprising since the scent didn't indicate this. Some english malt gives balance. The bitter finish is near imppecable to the style.
M - Very interesting, and great with a meal. Can be sessionable, but I found myself content after one.
O - Really enjoyed this collaboration between two of the locals. This is an uncommon style and I think they did a solid job. Would like to see this one show up again.

On tap at the Lark in ENPT; pours hazy reddish copper color with a small foamy tan head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing.
Smells of rye up front, with herbs, grains, sweet malt, light floral hops and earthy tones; pretty mellow and lightly spicy, but just sweet enough to be enjoyable and let the rye shine.
Tastes of sweet malt, rye, herbs, grains, light floral hops, caramel, floral hops, flowers, pepper, wheat bread and other smoky earthy tones that taste like lightly roasted oats or grains; this is sweet and lightly spicy, yet went down really smooth.
Mouthfeel is slick and smooth with an almost oily feel that slides across the tongue with light fizzy carbonation, a medium body and grainy aftertaste that's on the dry side. Smooth with just enough spice to make this different, this was enjoyable and would make a good session beer.

Excellent caramel color but not a very pronounced rye smell.
Taste is similar to Bluepoint's RastafaRye Ale (both are great).
The lack of strong hops at the end of a swallow is the only negative seen in this tasty and limited quantity brew. Would buy again if the hops was bumped up a bit.

Pours a clear amber brown color with a small off-white head that settles into a light ring.
The aroma is not very strong but does have a nice fresh hoppy scent. A bit of rye spice from the malt.
The taste is of a plain caramel malt with some toast. A sour spice from the rye that also brings some rust notes. There is a good grassy hop flavor with a touch of pine.
Moderate feel with fizzy carbonation. Nice balance between sweet and bitter. Some asprin like bitterness in the end.
Well made hoppy rye ale.

Poured a deep amber hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured an herbal hop with a sharp rye spice. Traces of caramel and tea noted as well.
The taste was upfront herbal with a vibrant hopand prickly rye spice. Sweet toasted breadiness at the finish.
The mouthfeel was typical of te tylewith a soft carbonation.
Overall a tasty and welcomed collaboration by the two east enders.

A collaboration beer with Southampton and Greenport Harbor, this ESB was on tap at the brewery this weekend. It's clean and filtered with a reddish copper hue, and a head that stays around during the drink. It smells of malt, noble hops, some caramel and sweetness. There's pine and grass, and the start of the taste features those hops.
The middle has a light malt character, almost like a cream ale, and finishes crisp and dry. It's highly drinkable, has a 5.6 abv, and a solid mouthfeel.
Resfreshing, easy to drink, yet with a big enough taste that it paces you naturally.
Lovely beer. Thanks to the brewers.
