Little more can be said about this beer than these two words: Chocolate and Stout. This brew fills the palate with slightly sweet, super chocolate, malty flavor.

Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has roasted malts and light chocolate with dark grains supporting. Flavor has bitter chocolate with dark grains and roasted malts supporting.

On tap at the Dragonmead Brew Pub.
Gotta love the name. Poured a medium brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of chocolate, lactose, and some coffee. Tastes of chocolate, vanilla, some roast, lactose and coffee. The milk chocolate was definitely there.

I seek out these chocolate stouts, and this one was no exception, driving through sleet and bypassing sidelined cars to get to this brewpub. A chocolate and lactose aroma, a brown milkshake in appearance with lace. Bold carbonation and bittersweet chocolate.
