This Dubbel style Belgian beer is created in the great Belgian tradition. Pale Malt, Caramel and Special B Malts impart a unique sweetness to this beer. The traditional Belgian yeast fully ferments the Belgian Candi Sugar to give a satisfying taste that is twice what a Beligian pale delivers.

I had at our first visit to Dragon's Landing. Good tasting and not too strong.

An aroma of banana and dark bread. Appearance is clear gold, with minor white fizz and minor lace. Taste is a balanced sweetness and bitterness of honey, banana, and malt. Palate is a little creamy and a little fizzy, very nice. Overall, very nice!

Dark brown ale with a small tan head. Has a sweet yeast aroma and an even sweeter flavor - though perhaps a little too sickly sweet. There’s also a hint of bitterness to add a touch of complexity, so overall it is okay. It just doesn't quite measure up to the style.

Enjoyed at the brewpub. Thin off-white head that produced plenty of lacing sat atop this slightly hazed, amber beer. Nice aroma! Malty, raisin, dried fruits, and bready yeast. Strong bitterness with mild sweetness, plus plum, prune, bready malt and yeast. Medium bodied with lowish carbonation, fairly dry. A pretty good dubbel and one that I'd have again.
