Bottled
Pours a jet black body with big foaming tobacco stained head that retreats but keeps the surface covered so guess it would have been better to pour into a half glass and top up
Sorry but to me this smells of dog shit
The flavour is much more pleasant
Cola and chewed pencil
A good solid mouthfeel best I've had from a Guinness in a long time
If slightly too fizzy
Mixed bag

Six pack purchased at Roys Mart gas station in Monroe, MI. I've never seen this beer anywhere else and I haven't had a milk stout in ages. Let's see what we get.
Look - Pours black with fair clarity and a finger of dark froth upon. Lacing and stick are solid.
Smell - Roasted malts and sugary sweetness.
Taste - Cream. Light roast coffee. Apparent lactose. Bit of char.
Feel - Thin bodied but very creamy. Swallows easily with a nice chocolate like sweetness on the back end.
Overalll - Impressed with this being a Guinness beer. Good deal at $10.99 a sixer. Only real complaint is the ABV is a bit low. Tasty. Try it if you can find it.

My favorite beer of all time, such a shame it's been discontinued. Please bring it back Guinness.

500 ml bottle, at The Lamplighter, St. Helier. ABV is 5%. Black colour, coarse beige head. Aroma of grain and lactose, hints of roast malts and chocolate. Medium sweet and lactic flavour, moderate notes of roast malts and milk chocolate. Minimal hops.

I had this when in I was in Ireland. Very tasty! Bold sugary taste mixed with the classic Guiness Irish Stout flavor. I wish I could have found it on tap somewhere for comparison sake. I bought an extra bottle and put it in my boot for safe storage when I flew home. It didn't break during the fight.

look: the deepest darkest mahogany colour, not quite black, one finger tan coloured head which dissipates pretty quickly although a thin layer of bubbles retain, lots of lacing.
smell: smells like a good stout alright, lots of smokey roasted malt flavour, burned smells, espresso, milk chocolate and dark chocolate, some fig, some tart raspberry there too, not particularly sweet smelling even with the lactose but sweetish.
taste: it’s pretty good, super smokey at first with the malt, lots of roasted toasted flavours, tobacco, then a wave of sweetness, caramel and milk chocolate, also vanilla, coffee, then a somewhat mild burned bitter finish with some earthy floral aftertaste, perhaps some wafer flavours, has a character like guiness at first and then the sweetness and it’s unique characteristics kick in, its good.
feel: medium to full bodied, medium carbonation, creamy thick mouthfeel, nice to drink, perhaps just a tad watery.
overall: good stuff from guinness here, can’t believe it’s taken me so long to try it.

L: Pitch black, a very (and I mean very) slight hint of brown at the bottom end, lasting lacing
S: Coffee, premium milk chocolate, toffee
T: Overriding hints of burnt toast, thick cream, coffee, slight chocolatey notes
F: Feels smooth, very interesting characteristics
O: 4.25

L- Inky black, pours with 3mm fine tan head that swiftly clears.
S- Typical stout, ie roasty-toasty with coffee.
T- Follows the Smell, smokey, roasty, toasty, and distinct coffee flavour, make that a kind of biscuity-coffee (my wife, a stout fan gets coffee+chocolate).
F- It has a pretty solid presence for 5.0%ABV. This stands in contrast to two 'hipster' beers I've just had both also 5.0% which really lacked body/mouth-feel. So kudos to this beer for bringing Taste and Feel in a parallel balance.
O- I'd put this head+shoulders above the forms of Guinness you might expect to find served in an English pub. It has character vs the factory-brew taste of the latter.
p.s. I am not a born stout drinker, but this beer is an example of a style of stout that could win me over.
500ml bottle. BB: 12/02/2020. £1.80 from Waitrose Motcomb St., London SW1, the only shop and place I have happened to find this beer stocked for sale.

Delicious, creamy beer.A really nice creamy foam. The nose gets some coffee, chocolate and cream :) Medium-high malty sweetness. Semi dry finish. Smooth, velvety with a soft carbonation. Delicious. I would not be able to drink two in a row, bit overwhelming milky sweetness.

Bottle purchased in Dublin. Pours opaque, black in color with one inch head. Taste is Guinness with big vanilla sugar, roasted malt, peat. Medium bodied, sweet, with moderate carbonation. Sweet Guinness and its damn good. Will get this again. Nice twist on the original.

Poured into grip shaped goblet: color solid black, head is tan to dark tan - signature Guinness color, head is made up of fine bubbles and presents at least 1 inch thick on the initial pour, but it dissipates to thin top with some spot lacing that fades down the glass sides.
Smell is probably the highlight of the beer with pleasant light roast, hint of caramel, and noticeable creamy character.
Taste starts with some creaminess then leans more roasty/chocolatey - which plays very well into the style like a lightly boozy chocolate milk.
Mouthfeel is a bit sharply carbonated, but still enough sweetness to linger and flavor.
Overall a great milk stout with unique flavor profile that has the Guinness stout qualities with a smoothing creamy sweetness.
