Notes:
This beer was named after the brightest star in the constellation Gemini, and one half of the twins that inspired the constellation.
Pollux, the beer, resembles the star with its brilliant orange hue. A new, experimental German hop was used in dry-hopping this beer, bringing out notes of mango, passionfruit, juicy melon, and lemon peel that perfectly complement the lightly toasted malt character of the brew. Think "orange marmalade on toast."
This is the perfect beer for the transition from winter directly into summer (since Spring doesn't exist here anymore), as the flavors are big enough to satiate you, yet refreshing enough to quench your thirst after a long day.

On tap at the brewery. The beer was named after the brightest star in the Gemini constellation per Kuhnhenn's FB page.
Pours a crystal clear golden hue with a one-finger fluffy white foam head in a shaker glass. Nice-looking beer. Very-appetizing appearance. Leaves a sticky lacing as the head and beer recede.
Awesome smell of ripe melon, white grape, pineapple, mango, lemongrass. Word has it that this beer was dry hopped with German Hallertau Blanc.
Taste follows the nose with melon, mango and a hint of lemon zest. Finishes dry with minimal bitterness. Very subtle light biscuit malt backbone. An extremely drinkable beer.
An excellent APA and a welcome addition to the ever-expanding, impressive lineup of Kuhnhenn beers. A must-try when visiting.
