A small off-white film covers the orange hue. An appearance that could use some work, but as soon as you take a whiff, that kind of minor details become meaningless. The aroma bursts with creamed cherries. This is New Glarus Belgian red level, though more sour. Strong woody and leafy characteristics, full and powerful nose. Beautiful moderate acidic level coats the mouth sides, leafy, woody. Unfortunately, the flavours fade away a bit too fast, because that acid bite will be missed. Delicious spicy fruits. Very clean, comfortable body, soft carbonation. Woah! These guys sure can brew. Thanks for sharing Clark!

Thanks goes to Bret for sharing this with a few of us ratebeerians that gathered to get to know each other and to have a good time on 3/19/05. this makes number 400 on ratebeer and I like to have a Mich. beer at every 100. from the bottle poured a honey with a white head. aroma tart to sour cherries with a hint of alcohol. flavor got those tart cherries and a touch of yeast and malts like this one wish they would put it on tap or bottle more of it to sell
