Gueuze is traditionally made by mixing one, two, to three year old Lambics, our version is very golden in color with aromas of apples and light fruit. Quite sour on the nose, with a light mouthfeel and mild tartness.

Pours rather dark for a "gueuze". Almost copper in color with a small off-white head. Lots of apple cider and vinegar on the nose. A weird caramel sweetness and lots of metal. A slight fruitiness, perhaps plums? The flavor is really no better. Apples, cider, vinegar, and oak make up most of the flavor and the strong metallic character persists. Not a fan of this one at all.

Cask at the Great Taste. Pours a golden copper color with a nice small white head. Tart sour aromas fill my nose along with some light colored fruit flavors. A touch of acetone as well. Not as sour and tart as I expected or wanted but fairly good. Light mouthfeel. If I was going for a gueuze, I would most likely pick something else other than this.
