This Belgian Golden Strong Ale was made in collaboration with Eric after trying Ron’s homebrew recipe of this beer. It’s complex aroma includes spicy fruitiness and floral hop characteristics. Brilliant golden in color, this fruity, lightly hopped beer strongly resembles a Tripel but has a lighter body. It surely is delicious.

Got this off tap at Crunchy's in East Lansing. Served in a pint.
A: Is a clear, golden yellow color with a short off white head that dissipates into a ring, leaving small amounts of lacing.
S: Has a slight champagne effervescence to it, smells of white grapes, wheat, grains, yeast, malts, tinges of hops and floral notes.
T: Tastes slight sweet, like white grapes, honey, wheat, malts, yeast but has a slightly bitter, hoppy after taste
M: Medium bodied with good amounts of carbonation, good balanced with flavors
O: Overall, another good beer from Kuhnhenn. The only reason I bought it was that I didn't want to hold up the waitress by checking my phone so I just impulse chose this because it was by Kuhnhenn. Paid off well, great beer. Recommended.

On-tap at Kuhnhenn. Served in a taster glass.
A - Off-white foam settles to a thick collar and solid, leaving behind stray splotches of lace. Mostly transparent golden body.
S - Phenolic and fruity Belgian yeast, lightly crackery, with toasted bread and touches of caramel and candi sugar.
T - The taste has fruitier and more Tripel-like, with caramel apples, honey-soaked bread, and tangy, spicy, Belgian yeast showing up in the finish and aftertaste. Alcohol is quite well-hidden.
M - Medium body, with a bit of alcohol warmth. Slightly grainy texture, with medium-low carbonation.
D - A solid Belgian amber? Somewhere between Tripel and Biere de Garde I guess, with attenuated sweetness and a modest ABV. Enjoyable, but not something I'd order often.

A- Pours a hazy, golden color
S- Spicy Belgian yeast, mixed with light fruity aromas. Bananas, and spices.
T- Very complex Belgian flavors. You get the banana and spices and close it out with the breadiness you'd expect from this style.
M- Easy to drink given the 8.5% ABV - medium low carbonation.
O- Very classic to the style. Another solid offering from Kuhnhenn.
