A: Pours with a slight haze. Golden orange in color. A one finger white head forms and sticks around as a cap. Good lace is left behind.
S: Peppery spice and phenols. Big fruity esters that I really enjoy. Light cracker like malts, and a touch of orange citrus hop aromas. Very nice.
T: Like the nose, that big peppery spice, phenols and esters are the show. Banana, apples, clove, I love the esters here. There is just a touch of malt coming through, and citrus/orange peal like hop character. Excellent.
M/O: A medium body with crisp carbonation. This becomes really smooth as well. There is a light soapiness, but not bad in that department. This is really enjoyable to drink. Lots of character and something I can come back to again and again.
This is an excellent yeast driven Saison. There is a nice refreshing quality, and the esters really shine. I think this is really well made.
