A small step above a macro and unfinishable. Pale yellow with initial good head some malt taste. metallic, light body.Aggressive carbonation. A tad of hop and bland finish. Served cold but not ridiculously cold at the Rhino. Aroma is cheese and malt.

Draft

Appearance - The beer pours a slightly hazy yellow colour with a small off white coloured head. There is a low amount of carbonation showing and there really inst much carbonation. The head was gone by the time it arrived at my table.

Smell - breads/grains, grass, pale malts

Taste & Mouth - The beer has an average amount of carbonation and there really inst a whole lot of taste. The taste that is there is made up of breads, grains, and a light grassiness. It finished with an unremarkable slightly bitter aftertaste.

Drink - An okay beer if there were no other choices.. I wouldn't seek it out again.

341 ml bottle- Pours sparkling gold with a fluffy white cap. grassy, hay and lemon in the nose with subtle hints of mint and grain. Somewhat sweet grains and grass for the flavour profile with a touch of biscuit and bread crust towards the finish. Prickly carbonation in the finish. Good.

12oz draught

I tried this beer on January 18, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto. The beer was a translucent gold colour with a thin white head that quickly disappeared. The aroma was weakly malty. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, creamy, with medium carbonation. The flavour was a little soapy, some spiciness, a little hoppy bitterness, and some chocolatey aftertaste.

Bottle: Poured a medium yellow color beer with a small head with almost no retention. Aroma is weak with only subtle hops being distinguishable. Taste is also a bit weak with more malt and hops then your average macros but not enough to truly satisfy a beer geek I guess (which is not the goal of the brewer here I think).
