A: Pours a hazy reddish/amber color. A small white head forms and some lace is left behind.
S: Sweet malt at first with a light vinegary aroma. Tart and fruity. Cherries, grapes, and apples. Dry wood. Excellent.
T: Not as complex as the nose, but still good. Sweet malt, and tart cherries are dominate. A light vinegary flavor.
M/D: A medium body and crisp carbonation. A little thin though. Easy to drink. Before I knew it, the glass was gone.
An excellent Duchesse De Bourgogne clone IMO. This is a very difficult style to make, and Blue Star did it right. Try it before it is gone.
