Enjoyed on tap at SeaWorld San antonio. Seems like a slightly sweet version of a Sam Adams, but less complex.

Nice full mouthfeel.

On tap at the brewpub in San Antonio.

Appearance: Pours golden-amber with a small, short-lived head.

Feel: Light body and near medium carbonation. Slightly watery,

Flavor: OK balance. Light-roasted grain flavor with a complementary touch of hops. More durable aftertaste than expected.

O: Certainly not a bad version, but this is a style I seldom like much.

On tap at the brewpub.

The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is full of grain and grass notes, about what I expect from a beer that is designed to compete with Mexican lagers.

The flavor is better than the aroma. I get the same grain and grass notes as in the aroma, as well as some light orange citrus notes. There is also some yeast in the flavor.

Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

American or other style pils. Pours a two finger white head over a hazy golden liquid. Smells pils malt and lightly of hops. Lemony and a little bit perfumey. Some sulfur.

Tastes flat grain gluten with flowery and mildly citrusy hops. Has a sour sort of thing going on in the finish that isn't right. Very minerally and moderate, but crisp carbonation. Sweet is carried away by the effervescent carb, which also prevents the hop bitter from taking a zing in the finish. Light body.

On-tap at the brewpub.

Pours a straw color with a half-finger white head. The head recedes into a wispy layer on top leaving decent lacing.

Smells of muted pilsner malts with hints of leafy hops. As it warms mild amounts of indistinct fruits work their way into things but not enough to substantially impact things in a negative way.

Tastes very similar to how it smells. Good amounts of crisp pilsner malt flavors kick things off. Midway through the sip it sweetens a bit before being tempered by mild amounts of leafy hop flavors that carry through to a mildly bitter ending.

Mouthfeel is good. It's got a nice thickness with moderate carbonation.

Drinkability is also good. I didn't have a problem finishing my glass and could have another.

Overall this was an easy-drinking offering with no egregious off-flavors, not always easy with pale lagers. On the flip-side nothing was done exceptionally well however I still think this one's worth a shot.
