you dont see these served on nitro enough, so i was stoked to see it offered that way at their hotel in downtown mcminnville, a real cool spot to stay as well with a cool bar downstairs that had a big selection of their beers, but does not brew on site at this one. the head on this is super creamy and lasting and thick, the body is just a tad hazy, bronze toned, and highly appealing visually. the aroma is a little muted, maris otter type malt, fresh and authentic, english ale yeast, a hint of pizza dough and honey, earthy and wet and simple. the flavor is great, heartier than it smells on the malt side, not sweet but deep, mineral forward, nutty and earthy and baked. its smooth to drink without much hops in the finish and the nitro richness, its soft and delicious, i love this style on nitro. subtle almond and wheat toast aspects to the malt profile, a classic english ale yeast, and overall a real tasty beer thats very authentically built. i know they have the occasional miss, but these guys dont get enough credit for their beers i dont think. this is excellent, something i could happily drink every day.

One of the regular offerings, this ESB is served in a standard pint. It is a very hazy bronze with a egg shell head decent lacing.

Nice aroma of biscuits, citrus and grains.

Taste is slightly bitter with puckering citrus and grains. This is a hopped-up ESB. Nice balance of tastes.

The mouth is brisk with low carbonation.

Very easy drinker, I like their take on the style. Session beer to the max!!
