a: This was a cloudy coppery color. It was served to me with a short sticky head.
s: Smells of tart, dark fruit and come spicy, flowery hops.
t: Mirrors the smell. I love a saison with fruity elements.
m: Decently carbonated, but the body was a bit thin.
d: Very nice offering, I'm very glad to have tried it.

Served on tap at CPR, split a pitcher with some friends.
This is a cloudy amber color with a big creamy head.
Smell is pleasant and grassy...light esters and citrus are present.
Taste closely mirrors the nose. Bread, citrus and grassy notes are present, but there is just enough funk and spice to make it interesting...not too over the top. Very faintly sour and very refreshing. All those lovely esters and light peppery spice really compliment the beer instead of dominating it. Well done.
Super creamy mouthfeel is a real pleasure. As for drinkability...this is the very definition of "quaffable".
I highly recommend this beer...it goes especially well with cajun fries :)
