Had this and forgot to review it....
Not sure why more peeps don't rate McM ales... I always liked them, even tho they are run of the mill for the PNW...
Poured in nitro, which I prefer with this beer, and the location being across from my office is too convenient !
L- golden with a dusting of cloudiness, good , but low head , lots of foam stuck to the glass
S- even keel with a bit of a soapy, yeasty smell. Not much fragrance for an IPA
T- very malty, with citrus notes, but not strong... Has a smooth Rainey, semolina flour taste, unexpected
F- super smooth on nitro, even carbonatuon, with a foamy thickness
O- I'm a sucker for Norris, and a big sucker for IPAs so this will be an easy choice at this establshmen...

Light gold color. Medium head. Aroma is floral hops. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are slightly fruity. Hops are floral and somewhat bitter. A lighter and flavorful IPA. Not the typical Pac NW IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

A middle of the road IPA, particularly for the Pacific Northwest. It has a pale gold body with a soft white head. The aroma and flavor profile reminds me a bit more of an ESB than a hopped-up IPA. Sweet malt, with a slight bite of hop bitterness. This ale appears a bit toned-down for some reason.

This beer had me tricked for a minute. It appeared to be a lager, as it was a very clear and golden pint. However, the smell left no questions. The strong and fresh hop aroma were prominent, and it translated into a very strong and fresh hop taste. This beer gives the same citrus quench and saliva gland drying properies I've come to expect from an IPA. I could have easily drank many more, but I had to drive.
