Tastes musty and old. None of the crispness that I'd expect from a blonde.

Served in a taster glass
From notes - found a random page of notes in a book. Enjoyed while visiting the brew pub in July 2011.
A: Bright golden and clear (i.e. filtered). 1.5 (frothy white) fingernail head.
S: Cara pils malt with a biscuit, shortbread, and vanilla. Faint hint of wheat, but no hops.
T: Sweet and malty all throughout with a nice bitter finish. There are no distinct wheat/blonde characteristics here as this beer drinks more like an American Pale Lager.
M: Light body and medium carbonation.
O: As mentioned, this beer drinks more like a lager than a traditional blonde; however, it is still quite good. Crisp. Clean. Refreshing. The malt sweetness is balanced extremely with a distinct bitter finish.
