Served in a taster glass
From notes - found a random page of notes in a book. Enjoyed while visiting the brew pub in July 2011.
A: Burnt copper. 2+ (off-white) fingernail head.
S: Loads of sweet malt and hops coming off the nose. Hint of pine and tropical fruit.
T: Pronounced oak character up-front with a smooth balance of hops and malt. The hint of pine comes thru in the middle followed by a very nice tropical fruit and citrus hop finish. Most enjoyable here!
M: Light/medium bodied with high carbonation.
O: A very well put together beer that drinks exactly like it is supposed to. The malt, hop, and tropical fruit balance is wonderful and this is a good, quality beer!
