A: Hazy orange with a small eggshell head that doesn't stick around save for a thin film. Leaves no lace. The weakest part of the beer for me.
S: Slightly sour and quite fruity. Apples, pears and green grapes all come through. A lemony sourdough bread quality balances the sweeter fruits.
T: The fruit aromas transition nicely into the flavor. A lemon and clove bitterness comes on with just enough bite to create balance. Toward the end, a hint of anise joins in. Its flavor stays through the beer's long finish.
M: The grainy body could stand a higher dose of carbonation.
D: I liked the aroma and taste, but the look and mouthfeel were letdowns. Overall I liked it, but it seemed like it could be better.
