Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at the CCB tasting room. Poured into a pint glass.

A: Clear brown in color, with a nice white head. There is a bit of visible carbonation.

S: Bitter malt aroma, with a trace of hops.

T: Nice bitter flavor but balanced, bitter citrus bite, then a muted hoppy finish.

M: Nice weight, not too heavy. Alcohol presence almost non-existent.

O: I've had this a couple times now, and it's definitely a good to very good bitter.

Enjoyed on tap at the Cigar City taproom.

This beer pours a hazy golden color. Bright citrus and bready malts on the nose. It's very toasty and grainy, with a strong bright citrus presence. There's also a decent amount of complexity from the yeast here as well. Excellent aftertaste. Light and carbonated, very drinkable. An easy quaffer.

A: single finger white head on a deep golden body.

S: Grassy, floral and toasted malt. a little wet sick hop aroma as well.

T: Similar to the aroma with a stronger yeast character than I was expecting. A nice malt profile is well represented.

M: fuller bodied than expected with moderate carbonation.

Overall: This is a collaboration beer which I had at the Hogtowne Beer Festival. Managed multiple pours from both the Cigar City and Swamp head tents. I had a little trouble putting my finger on some of the aromas and flavors and had my fellow beer drinkers help me out with this one. Overall a drinkable and nice beer. I love seeing collaborations like this one.
