August 23rd, 2015 - I love my trips to Vista, where I can stop by Mother Earth and other excellent breweries to see what they're peddling. Today it starts with the Barely Legal Blonde. Clear and deep gold in color, it has a light grain aroma and a slight banana scent, with some peppery too. The flavor is rich with minerals, and is quite dry. Also, nutty. In that way it tastes much more like a pilsener than a blonde, but I prefer the more assertive crystal malt style taste to another generic blonde.
