Upon pouring the beer, I observed a little bit of a head (1/4 inch thick) that mostly subsided within a minute or two. The remaining bubbles remind one of a soda, as the carbonation is visibly rising to the top within the glass. As a Berliner Weisse, this beer has a hazy, pale golden color. The beer is bright and slightly sour on the nose, and reminds one of lemon sour candy. This Berliner Weisse is tart on the palate, continuing with the sour lemon theme, and has an underlying, subdued hoppiness. The feel is crisp and fairly light, with moderate carbonation, and has a healthy acidity. Having been interested primarily wine for the past year and a half, the Berliner Weisse is one of the styles that has me interested in craft beer again, and Mother Earth's take is currently my favorite of the style.

12 oz can 2/20/17 poured into a tulip. Pours a translucent golden orange. Not much of a head, a thin layer, no lacing. Lemon tart sour aroma. Taste follows suit with some salt. Grains, some bright lemony hops, and a little bit of slight funk. The mouthfeel is medium and bubbly with carbonation. Overall, another solid offering from Mother Earth. A great beer for the hot southern summer.
