This is definitely a 'golden stout', which is apparently becoming a thing - clear golden body with a fluffy, off-white head. Horchata spices jump out of the glass; cinnamon and nutmeg, vanilla and almonds, cocoa sweetness. The palate unfolds with a lovely nutty character combined with a vanilla sweetness that balances the spiciness. Medium bodied, not cloying or too dry on the finish.
A well-executed take on the style - will seek this one out again.
