Poured from 12 oz can into schooner glass. A thin tan head drops slowly with mild lacing. Color is dark brown. Aroma of rich & dark malt, plums, raisin, and citrus. Mouthfeel is thick and syrup like with a lingering finish. Flavor is rich with sweet caramel and chocolate malt, molasses, raisin, with a moderate hop presence for balance. Overall: very enjoyable on a chilly fall afternoon.

Black color with almost a purple hue around the rim. No head. Strong malt backbone. Some notes of plum and candied fruit. Lingering finish. Quite boozy and warming.
