5.2% ABV according to the menu at Steinfels. Cost was 9.8 CHF at the brewery. Served on-draught into a .5 litre stem-weissbier glass (it was bizarre). Reviewed from notes taken June 2010.
A: Pours a two finger head of nice cream, nice thickness, and decent retention. Body colour is a hazy off-orange.
Sm: Light orange fruit esters. Wheat. Pleasant and inviting.
T: Orange fruit esters. Wheat. Refreshing and pleasant, but sadly a bit watery - the kiss of death. Simple, bland, and uninspired as a result. The balance is off too. It's a shame; there was some good flavour here otherwise.
Mf: Watery, smooth, and wet, with adequate coarseness to coax out the more interesting flavours. The watery quality ruins it though.
Dr: Priced highly for its unfortunately low quality. I wouldn't get this again.
