Crowler from CopenRoss. Clear dark brown, light tan foamy head. Toasty, nutty aroma, mildly sweet. Taste follows with dark, sweet malts and rich nutty flavors. Nothing out of the ordinary, but a really solid example of the style.

On-tap in Meridian ID; served in a pint glass. Pours a clear, deep mahogany color, minimal head. Light, nutty aromas of malt, coffee. More biscuit and toffee on the palate, malt sweetness emerges. Mouthfeel leans towards a creamy 5%, still light and somewhat watery. Overall an OK brown ale.
