Cream Stout evolved from Irish Porters. Jackleg is smooth and as dark as the underground. The roasted coffee flavor and aroma come from chocolate and debittered black malts.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Dark brown/black pour, scant beige head. Mild roast grain aroma, taste offers a small bite and a little sweetness. Seems a bit weak and watery. Could use a bit more oomph.

I was told 4.3% ABV at tap house.
Pours brown with a slate surface and brown hues. Nose is dry with some nutty character. Flavor is quite nice with a classic cocoa, soil, herbal stout ambiance and a little graham towards the end. Medium bodied with low carb. Nice to have a full flavored beer clocking in under 5%. I dug this one.
