This may be my first review since BA spun-off the Czech Pale style from the Czech Pils. And based on this, I think the spin-off was beer wisdom. It is easier for a malt-head like me to rate and enjoy the Czechs.
Templarske Looks like a tamed lager, enough bubbles but not too bubbly. Smells are mostly sweet malt biscuits with hops entering at the end of my sniff. Tastes largely follow with the bread at the front and the hops balancing by mid-palate and finishing with a linger and almost semi-dry. Medium-mouthed.
Drank with lunch on Christmas Eve Day and everything made bright.
Because Nová Paka has an English translation on their website, I could read their history and how it is a slice of Czech history during the tumultuous Twentieth Century. However having survived history, Nová Paka is making historic growth. It is so successful that it may be becoming a target for an acquisition by a macro. Let's hope Nova and the macro preserve the Czech tradition and innovate for the future. Nazdravi ! And... Šťastný nový rok (that's Happy New Year.)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
