Clear gold color with a modest white head.
The aroma is light malt and citrus.
The taste is light sweet lemonade with a background of light lager malt, just a hint of grassy hops in the finish.
The body is light/medium, soft carbonation, smooth and decently drinkable.
Altogether, this is a pleasant and refreshing brew for a warm weather cooler. Nothing exciting, but good enough for a hot day mowing the grass.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of lemons, light malts. Taste is dominated by sour lemons, very light malts. Feels medium/light bodied in the mouth and overall is a mediocre beer.

Breckenridge Brewery "Summer Pils Shandy"
12 fl. oz. brown glass bottle "BEST ENJOYED BY 15 AUG22 DB1807". Sampled on 03JUL22.
$2 @ ACME #2762, Phila., PA
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's labeled as an "ALE WITH NATURAL FLAVORS" which doesn't bother me one bit in a shandy. It's mostly clear, just slightly hazy, and golden in color. The head is a short-lived 3/4" of white foam. In the nose you'll find a little bit of sweetish and grainy malt, a whiff of herbal spiciness, and some fruitiness. The taste follows and I honestly don't know what flavor is supposed to be there. It seems more like orange than lemon to me but the label states lemon. Whatever. I'm not getting the hops in the flavor but I think it's great that there's just that little bit in the aroma. It's not bitter, nor did I expect it to be. What I didn't expect is that it's more like a beer than a soda with beer added, which is usually what shandies are like these days. It remains sweetish but it's not overdone. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp. Shandies can also be a little bit overcarbed but this is nice and soft. All in all it's a pleasant, easy drinkin', and refreshing brew at just 4.3%.
