"With a breezy 5% ABV, a touch of sea salt, and a splash of lime, it strikes the ideal balance between cool mountain air and warm sunshine."

Purchased to make micheladas with as Target had no other craft lagers. It's a lager beer, with lime and salt additions. I can see what they were going for, but the lime is very hinted at and not fresh like if you squeezed a fresh lime wedge into your beer, and the salt to me is pretty nonexistent. Still good on a hot day, and let's face it, it's Breckenridge, so they probably achieved what they set out to make. I just think they could've pushed it a little more with the lime and salt of they are going to present it as a "salt & lime" lager. For my purposes, this will probably make killer micheladas, but I'll still be adding lime!

Poured from a 12oz can, best by September 5th, 2025
On the pour, 2 fingers of a bone white, attractive fine head form on top of a lightly hazy golden body. On the better looking side of average.
Aroma is actually very light, bit there is some lime peel that is dominating what I can smell. There is a vague off note but it's not very noticeable.
Flavor is disappointing honestly. It's not bad, but I think lacks any salt bite whatsoever, and there is no tartness contributed by the lime. It reminds me slightly of bud light lime, but obviously higher quality and more "craft". I was expecting something more like the Modelo Sal y Limon chelada. It's pretty plain, but carries a light zesty bitterness, and a light lime zest flavor does linger. I'm really not picking up a whole lot of malt at all.
Feel is where this beer redeems itself a bit. For being a 5% ABV "heavy" lager, this comes of as extremely light, drinkable, and refreshing. It's definitely easy to drink.
Overall this is a decent summery beer to cool you down on a hot day, and would be a good contender for a lawnmower beer if it was priced a bit lower. Unfortunately this just doesn't scratch my sal y limon itch, although I will admit, when I do add salt and lime or lemon to a regular lager, I add quite a bit of each ingredient. I am a bit sad that I'm really not detecting the salt at all though.
