So after the infected Chancellor, I had a taste of this beer. The barkeep warned me..it would be "funky" too. More so, even. I assumed this meant that there would be hops in this one as well. La dee da.
It came a sickly straw looking color with a nice looking head. Looked like a blond ale, smelled of grassy and a bit of floral hops. Sipped the watery mess and the hops did nothing for me. Maybe it's an English-style IPA, but even then, watery and underwhelmingly hopped. Hopefully these guys are selling the shit out of it anyways. Maybe it's just all about the crowd.
