Cask at Real Ale. Described as an Imperial Red.
A: Deep Red, Argento style. Finger of beige foam.
S: Resin and caramel with orange and grapefruit. Bright hop profile with some balance.
T: Sweet caramel with pine and citrus. Moderate bitterness. The beer is well balanced with tame booze.
M: Medium in body with a smooth and sticky mouthfeel.
Overall: Surprisingly good imperial red. I hope to see this again and have more time to examine it. My fiancé had hit the limit of her patience on this second day of Real Ale and it was time to go.

A - Somewhat murky red ale with brown hue. Nice tan head fast to leave. Lots of cling.
S - Subdued malt but prominent hops and booze! Yow!
T - Nice malt core meshed well with hops. Boozy.
M - Creamy, well balance, good carb. Medium to fuller body.
D - Tasty. I would have again.

Poured from a draft into a pint at San Diego Brewing Company. About one finger when I got it. Color was thick brown. Light brown lacing that remained throughout the pour. Lots of wet, gray film.
Smelled of wet cascade hops I think. Also got some lemon and caramel. There was another spice in there that wasn’t too great.
The taste was a lot different than the smell. Huge alcohol kick. Caramel, wet hops and an iced tea feel, which usually means rye for me.
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long-lasting smooth finish.
Really enjoyed this beer overall. Didn’t like it at first but it really grew on me. I’ll be having it again for sure.

On cask at O'Brien's
Appearance is a dense and cloudy orange/amber hue, thin layer of white head with minimal lacing
Smell is sweet hop juice aromas, mostly characterized by floral and earthy tones, smooth and sweet scent
Taste is mostly hops [grapefruit/lemon] with sweet bread malts, dry bitterness enters midway, some hints of tea and grassy tones, finishes sweet and bitter
Mouthfeel is medium-bodied, watery to smooth texture, no carbonation (cask)
Drinkability is high, smooth and easy-drinking DIPA off the cask, I like my friend's comment that this tastes like a "hoppy iced tea", i'll have to check this out on draft when it comes around
