This strong amber tips unexpectedly to the sweet. Some might say it's underhopped. But taken at face value, the beer shows plenty of character. It is dense sorrel with showy lace and a medium body. The taste is of congealed honey with fruited grains. The mellifluous aroma is alluring though faint.
A good drinker with local charm. Worth your time if you're looking for something sweet.
