A. Nice head.. two fingers
S. Very nice fruity aroma
T. Have only had a few esbs but this one is the best yet. Red babble and hops are the first flavors that jumped out at me.
M. Silky and smooth. No complaints

This ale is not dissimilar to GS's amber, but with the inclusion of hops and a soft white head. It is polished oak with refined clarity and a chewy mouthfeel fed by near absent carbonation. The aroma is appealingly sweet with an earthen mustiness and a touch of pencil shaving. The taste is that of a balanced American ale with a delayed finish of fine ash. Very workable.
Best GS beer of my first session, and one I'd eagerly return to.
