Deep coppery amber color with plenty of foam in the Einbecker Pils glass. Lots of lacing in the tall glass. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Railroad Market in Burlington.
Warm and malty with a really pleasing darker edge. Roasted malt and a caramel touch. Malty sweetness gives way to a drier finish. Some bitterness in the aftertaste along with a like peach fruit. Overall this is a full-bodied malty brew that is a very drinkable example of the Oktoberfest tradition.
