473ml, rather sparkly can - brewed at the Factory contract brewery in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
This beer pours a slightly hazy, medium copper amber colour, with four flabby fingers of puffy, rocky, and mildly bubbly off-white head, which leaves some stellar honeycombed lace around the glass as it lazily sinks out of sight.
It smells of gritty and grainy cereal malt, muddled domestic citrus rind, a further indistinct tropical fruitiness, some stony flintiness, and more understated earthy, leafy, and piney green hop bitters. The taste is grainy and bready caramel malt, candied orange and lemon square citrus notes, simple syrup, a damp minerality, and more leafy, weedy, and resinous piney verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is average in its palate-coating frothiness, the body a solid middleweight, and generally smooth, with the hops on their best school-boy behaviour at this particular juncture. It finishes off-dry, the mixed frooty essences mingling with the remains of the lingering malt.
Overall - yup, this is a pleasant enough version of the style, trying to go all ATL-NE on us now. Straightforward, hardly bitter at all, and with a near 18-proof booze factor that plays it admirably coy. Worth checking out, even if the production origins still seem a tad goofy to you.

Poured from a 473ml can. Canned on 29/09/2018. Brewed at the Vancouver,B.C. location.
A: Pours a off clear gold/amber with a thin white head and some nice sticky lacing.
S: A big tropical fruit filled nose with floral and hop notes.
T: Citurs from the first taste then the hops take over with a somewhat sweetness. The ABV does stand out some.
F: Medium body with a somewhat oil finish to it.
O: A real nice Double IPA.
