(From notes) Poured black with a finger of khaki head. Sourness definitely evident in the aroma, which was an interesting mix of Belgian funk and the traditional roasty stout characteristics.
Moderate carbonation and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Mild sourness up front with hints of caramel, coffee, and a distinctly smoky bitterness on the finish.
I really enjoyed this brew -- it's unlike anything I've tried, and I would definitely have it again next time I see it!

Had this beer on tap at the Hooverville in Seattle.
Appearance: solid black hue with a finger of dark tan head. This is indeed a stout-looking beer.
Smell: aroma is a somewhat light, very caramelly malt; a bit of the beer's sourness comes through as well. I like it.
Taste: caramelly, roasty flavor. Quite sweet with no hop character but a good, moderate bitterness. There's a biit of coffee flavor and plenty of acidic sourness . Actually pretty good, but I would like to try it with some age on it to see if the flavors mellow and blend better.
Mouthfeel: rich body with a smooth and well integrated carbonation. Silky!
Drinkability: a pretty solid stout with a very refreshing twist. I actually quite like this beer.

A: Poured a jet black with good carbonation and a nice white head
S: Smell was sour, funk, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Interesting to say the least
T: Started out with a mild funk, sour flavor that carried on throughout. Roasted malt, cocoa and some coffee. A hint of smoke.
M: Medium bodied, lighter booze feel
D: Once is good for me in one sitting
