Served in straight pint glass. Poured totally black, no translucence, with 3/4 inch of khaki-colored head that had good retention and lacing.

The aroma was nicely roasted, with some malty grain in the background. On the tongue, sour hits first followed by the roasted malt flavors. There was a sharp sour finish.

The body was a bit thin for a stout and drimkability will depend on your taste for sour brews. Overall, an interesting take on the traditional Stout styles. Almost a must try if you see it.
