Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clean, lightly hazy golden yellow, with about 1/4 inch of white head that had very good retention and no lacing.
The aroma was very grain malt upfront, with the yeast kicking in right after. There was a sweetness that's not in most examples, and an almost Pilsnerish scent floating around as well. There was a slight spice scent that somewhat atypical as well. On the tongue, the sweetness covered the front and middle, with the spice(that I still couldn't identify) having a mildly sharp bite at the end.
The body was a bit stickier and fuller than most of the style. Drinkability was good, but will be dependent on how you like the spice flavor of this beer. Overall, A good beer, one that's worth a shot if you see it. This brewery tends to make their beers a touch off-style, and this is no exception. If you like Odin's brews, you'll like this one.
