Was hoping for more after seeing the towering head on pour. Aroma is faint to non-existent and taste is malt with a flat hops bite on the finish. Very close to a pale lager in body and appearance. Thick head lasted to bottom of glass, even after the beer was gone.

Pours two and half fingers of foamy head on a clear medium straw colored body.
The aroma is a fragrant fruit basket of mango, orange and lemon.
The taste is a dry pine bitter that builds through the profile.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
It's a good drink but the taste is a little one sided.

Clear golden yellow in the Duvel tulip. Handsome foam with plenty of spritzy on the tongue. Warm and toasty taste, along with with a light resiny flavor. The bitterness comes on surprisingly strong but doesn't dominate the taste.

This is light as a cloud in the mouth but robustly flavored. The hops cut a nice swath through the pale, almost delicate, malt. Faint note of chamomile and flowery hops. Clean bitter finish. An excellent quaff, and now that I see the ABV, I'd say it's one of the better lightweight beers I've had in the Northwest. From the 22 oz bottle bought at Skagit Valley Food Coop in Mount Vernon.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly hazy straw gold color with about 1/4 inch of white head that had good retention and no lacing.

The aroma was a fairly typical and benign blend of soft malts and gentle hops. On the tongue though, the beer had a hop bite, and a bit of spiciness that I couldn't place.

The body was the typical medium of the style, and had a sharp, dry finish. Drinkability was good, if you're of a mind, you could drink a couple. Overall, a pretty nice little brew. Probably worth a shot if you see it.

22oz. Bottle into snifter....

Clear yellow in colour, small white head.... light hoppy very refreshing 'Extra' pale ale not quite as flavorfull as some of the lower alcohol Fremont offerings but still very nice unique little beer from Odin.... perfect for a sunny afternoon!
