Pours a clear golden-yellow body, faint haze, with a creamy white head that disappears quickly. No discernable aroma. Nice Kölsch flavor. Lighter body, crisp balanced finish. A good, easy drinking, and refreshing beer.

12 ounce can, no date seen anywhere on can. Picked up at Binnys on the singles shelf.
Pours a crystal clear golden yellow, rocky white head. Some decent lacing. Few streaming bubbles from the bottom of the glass.
Aroma of lemon, doughy malts, saltine crackers.
Similar tastes as the nose. Faint lemon, more dough and crackers, grassy, light hop bitterness.
Really easy drinking, crisp finish.

12oz can, no apparent freshness date. Clear golden-yellow body, faint haze, a couple of yeast chunkies settle at the bottom of the glass; creamy white head. Grassy and spicy hop aroma with biscuity malt and mild lemony citrus. Nice Kölsch flavors with familiar notes of lemony citrus, crisp biscuity malt, spicy and grassy hops. Lighter body, crisp balanced finish. A good, easy drinking, and refreshing beer.

Also Had at LP ZooBrew on a hot day (good to have a Kolsch), but many other brewers had the same offering... many seemed like they had gotten right the crisping from lagering, but not the ale yeast yet. Such was the case with Tribes offering. Refreshing. Clean. Bubbly. But, could use some fruit from a better yeast.

5/13/18: $5 draft pint served in pint glass at The Garage in Chicago. Clear blond pour, no carbonation, nominal thin white lacing. Malt aroma, light. Taste malt and wheat, slightly fruity, grapefruit, nice balance and blend. Thin texture and mouth feel, smooth summer drinking. Overall good offering.

The daylight kolsch was a decent offering from tribes. It poured a clear yellow with white head that did not leave much lace. The scent was faint with a hint of lemon. The taste was unbalanced leaning toward more bitter. The was a hint of lemon. The Mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's ok.
