Cellared 2 years. Very dark burgundy red body with a khaki cap that turns into a collar. I have had a fair amount of Flanders Red Ale, a style I love, but the taste complexion is a mess here: sour cherry, wet oak, and lacto, all good, but then the back end is nail polish remover and booze that is way harsher than it needs to be. Smell is much better, leaning into a traditional powers of the style: cherry, sour oak, lacto, and a hint of yogurt funk. Feel is very, very acidic, plenty sour too but not to the same degree. Thinner and short lived besides the acid. Disappointing
