This new beer is inspired by the Evolved Caractère Rouge from 5 years ago with an exotic twist (mango & raspberry). The new Evolved Caractère is an answer to a new trend combining sour beers with fruit to get a more balanced taste. Former Caractère Rouge consumers will love this new SKU, and with the fruity twist we expand to an even broader audience.

At my lady Pamela's house; bottled and slightly chilled, 750mL in a pint glass. From The Roundhouse Centre LCBO on Howard Ave. in nearby Windsor. Best before June 10/28. My 4th beer from the Roeselare, Belgium brewery, and 1st for 2026. With Sundae the cat's remarkable enthusiasm...

750ml cork and cage bottle.
Appearance - Mildly hazy reddish salmon color. Small half finger of head that fizzles away quickly.
Smell - Deep raspberries and mango aromas. Inviting and fresh.
Taste - Tart and fresh. Some oak, lots of raspberries and fresh mango.
Mouthfeel - Smooth with some creaminess, drying finish. Nice pleasant carbonation.
Overall - Nothing near the original Caractere, but a tasty treat that shows the versatility of the beer and raspberries and mango come together in a nice way.
