On tap for the 3rd annual Session Fest at Eagle Rock Brewery in Los Angeles, CA.
Billed as an American take on a Vietnamese beer that is drank while only partially fermented.
Pours a hazy light orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, floral, and citrus aromas. Taste is much the same with floral and citrus flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.
